Every two years, ministry leaders from across the four American Baptist Great Lakes regions of Indiana/Kentucky, Great Rivers, Ohio and Michigan come together for a powerful time of rest, renewal, and connection. The Great Lakes Leadership Retreat is a space to step away from the demands of ministry, to recharge spiritually, and to rediscover the joy of leading from overflow.
Located at the beautiful Cedar Lake Ministries in Indiana, this retreat offers peaceful surroundings, meaningful worship, and rich opportunities to connect with peers who share your passion for serving the Church.

J.R. is the founder of Kairos Partnerships, a ministry that equips and encourages kingdom leaders to lead with health, authenticity, and courage. With over twenty years of ministry experience as a pastor, author, coach, and teacher, he brings deep wisdom and a compassionate voice to those navigating the challenges of leadership today.
While his specific session themes will be announced soon, expect J.R. to lead us into conversations about sustainable leadership, spiritual vitality, and rediscovering hope in ministry.
